It is with great pleasure that we present to you our new office furniture collection FEEL.<\/p>\n

Biophilia is a hypothesis developed by Edward Wilson which says that a person needs and seeks connection with nature and other life forms. We all know that a person feels good and relaxed\u00a0 in nature. Spending time in nature has a positive effect on us. But at the same time we are all aware of the fact that most of adults spend a big part of our lives at work, which probably means being 8 hours inside. Studies have shown that by using elements from nature in the office we can invoke very similar psychological and physiological benefits than if we were to actually spend time in nature. So if we cannot actually be outside in nature, how can we bring the nature inside, into the office?<\/p>\n

The answer to that can be found in biophilia and biophilic design. Biophilic design is based on 7 main points that allow us to be closer to nature in closed spaces: plants, natural materials and shapes, light, water, air, stimulation of the senses and imitation of nature (to know more, go to: https:\/\/www.architectmagazine.com\/technology\/7-ways-to-enhance-indoor-environments-with-biophilic-design_o<\/a>). By using this design in the office, the employees are more relaxed, and consequently more productive since they can concentrate more easily. they are less irritable, less stressed, more creative and have an easier time seeking solutions.<\/p>\n

This was one of the main reasons why we wanted to include elements from nature to our existing office furniture collections.\u00a0 And so we developed desk FEEL with legs made from solid wood, which is responsibly sourced and, if needed, FSC certified. Office collection FEEL can become a part of any office, no mater its design scheme, creating a presence of nature in the office, giving it warmth and cosiness. With its colour, structure and pattern, wood instantly warms up the space. As a result, employees feel more relaxed, which improves their job satisfaction and their productivity.<\/p>\n
